GlobalSizeChart uses standardized international conversion logic based on published sizing frameworks and centimeter-based measurement references.

Footwear Conversions

Footwear conversions are derived from:

• US sizing standards (Brannock scale references)
• UK sizing baseline offset methodology
• EU Paris point system (2/3 centimeter increments)
• Japanese centimeter-based sizing system

All conversions are anchored to physical foot length in centimeters to reduce ambiguity between numeric labels.

Clothing Sizing

Clothing sizing comparisons are based on:

• Chest, waist, hip, and inseam measurements
• Brand-published size charts
• International measurement conventions

Because brands may apply “vanity sizing” or custom last shapes, final fit can vary slightly. Our platform prioritizes body measurements over numeric labels.

Recommendations

• Measure foot length in centimeters
• Compare against measurement charts
• Use conversion tables only after measurement confirmation

GlobalSizeChart does not rely on scraped or automated third-party size tables. All conversion logic is structured and validated internally.
